"Evza" Opens a representative office in Shanghai

Dubai, 16 October / WAM / IFZA, one of the most prominent free zones for establishing companies and supporting business growth globally, announced the opening of its first representative office in the Chinese city of Shanghai, in a step that represents a major milestone in its global expansion strategy and confirms its increasing commitment to the Chinese market.
According to a press release issued today, the opening ceremony was held in Shanghai, in the presence of senior IFZA officials, a number of Chinese officials, representatives of the UAE government, and business leaders.
The ceremony included welcome speeches by Jochen Knecht, CEO of IFZA, Xu Jiao, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Commission of the Jing’an Region, and His Excellency Muhannad Sulaiman Al Naqbi, Consul General of the UAE in Shanghai.
Jochen Knecht said, “Shanghai is one of the most vibrant cities in the world for innovation and growth, and with more than 15,500 Chinese companies already operating in the UAE, the opening of our new office is a natural step towards deepening cooperation relations, empowering entrepreneurs and opening new horizons for cross-border growth.”
In turn, His Excellency Muhannad Suleiman Al Naqbi said that the UAE and China enjoy strong and growing relations based on trade and mutual trust, and the presence of “IFZA” in China strengthens these bilateral ties and opens new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.
