The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah directs to exempt commercial licenses from fees for a period of two years for establishments affected by infrastructure works in Al Riffa and Al Jazeera Al Hamra.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, directed that commercial licenses for establishments affected by infrastructure project work in the Al Raffa and Al Jazeera Al Hamra regions be exempt from fees for a period of two years, as part of His Highness’s keenness to support project owners and commercial establishments and enhance the continuity of their businesses.
His Highness’s directive embodies the Ras Al Khaimah government’s approach to supporting the business community and the private sector, and alleviating the burdens resulting from ongoing development projects in the emirate, which contributes to ensuring the sustainability of economic activity and enhancing the attractiveness of Ras Al Khaimah as a leading destination for investment and business.
The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah explained that the decision reflects the vision of the wise leadership in supporting the local business environment and enabling it to overcome temporary challenges, noting that the exemption will contribute to enhancing confidence in the local economy and stimulating the wheel of growth in the emirate.
