Al-Wahda excels in front of the Qatari goal of Al-Duhail… with touches from Tadic and a world-class goal by Zuhair

Serbian star Dusan Tadic led Al-Wahda to victory over Al-Duhail of Qatar 3-1, in the third round of the league stage matches for the West Asia region in the AFC Champions League for the Elite, today, Monday, at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi, raising Al-Anabi’s score to seven points, while Al-Duhail’s score stopped at one point.
Al-Wahda continued its brilliance in the continental championship, achieving its second victory in the competition amid a good crowd of seven thousand and 632 fans. The team dominated the midfield in the first half, wasting three chances in the first 15 minutes, the most notable of which was a ball passed by Alaa Zuhair to Tadic, who was alone in the goal and shot the ball near the post (12), while Al-Duhail scored the first goal against the run of play, when Adel played. A cross ball was met by Krzysztof Piatek with a perfect shot into the goal (20).
On the other hand, Tadic excelled in leading the “Al-Anabi” attacks, as he passed the ball to Omar Khribin, who won a penalty kick, and the Syrian striker took care of shooting it into the goal, scoring the first goal (35), before Ibrahima Diarra added the second goal in a wonderful way from Tadic’s pass, and Diarra finished it in the goal in the second minute of stoppage time.
In the second half, Tadic put his mark on the third goal when he shot a powerful ball that bounced off Al-Duhail’s defenders, and Alaa Zuhair completed it in a wonderful way with a back kick on Al-Tair in the goal (67), while Al-Wahda maintained its superiority despite Al-Duhail’s control of the midfield, but the brilliance of Al-Annabi’s defenders and goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Shamsi contributed to the end of the match with the team obtaining three valuable points before facing Nasaf of Uzbekistan in the fourth round.
