The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council reviews free trade agreement negotiations with British officials

London, October 20 / WAM / His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Al Budawi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, discussed today in London with a number of British officials.
Ways to address the outstanding issues in the free trade agreement negotiations between the two sides, and review the latest findings of the British-Gulf negotiating teams.
This came during a meeting between His Excellency Peter Kyle, Secretary of State for Business and Trade in the United Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Trade, and Chris Bryant, Secretary of State for Trade in the Ministry of Business and Trade in the United Kingdom.
Al-Budaiwi stressed that the free trade agreement between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United Kingdom will contribute significantly to strengthening trade and economic relations between the two sides, and opening new horizons for cooperation in various fields.
