The arrest of her husband.. Developments in the theft of 5 million dirhams from Najah Al-Masaieed

The Jordanian poet and media personality raised Najah Al-Masaieed has received widespread controversy over the past hours, after she appeared in a video clip crying bitterly, after being exposed to the theft of a sum of money amounting to 5 million UAE dirhams.

In the developments of the incident, the media spokesman for The Jordanian Public Security Directorate said that a woman filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department in the capital, in which she reported that she had been robbed of five million UAE dirhams by her husband, after he ignored her and stole the amount from inside the house before disappearing from sight.

She explained that the amount represents part of the price of a property that she sold in The Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and the documents proving this have been highlighted.

Theft of Najah Al Masaeed

The media spokesman added that an investigative team from the criminal investigation team began working on the case immediately, and at dawn today was able to locate the defendant, raid him, and arrest him, as he confessed to stealing the amount.

He indicated that the team was able to seize one million Six hundred thousand UAE dirhams of the stolen amount, while investigations and searches for the rest of the amount continue.

Najah Al-Masaieed published a video clip through her accounts, in which she revealed that she had been subjected to the operation Fraudand huge financial theft.

She confirmed in the circulating clip that she would take the necessary legal measures to hold those involved accountable, and Al-Masaieed appeared in the video crying, noting the extent of the loss she suffered, without revealing additional details about the incident.
