Fujairah, October 22nd / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the second edition of the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair 2025 will be launched under the slogan “One Society, Many Stories”, during the period from October 26th to November 2nd at the Dibba Exhibition Center in Dibba, Fujairah.
The exhibition – organized by the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah in cooperation with the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority – witnesses the participation of 52 publishing houses from eight different countries, which enhances the international dimension of the event and enriches the cultural and educational experience of visitors.
The exhibition targets children and young people, with rich and diverse content also directed at adolescents, through a group of programs and activities designed to enhance the love of reading and develop their creativity and critical thinking skills, in a fertile creative environment.
The second edition of the exhibition provides an integrated experience that combines entertainment and education, as it includes educational, entertainment and cultural workshops, theatrical and artistic performances, in addition to the participating publishing houses presenting a group of distinctive interactive books that aim to develop the reading experience with innovative methods that combine paper and modern technologies, making knowledge and learning an interactive pleasure for children and young people alike.
His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, confirmed that the exhibition constitutes a qualitative cultural platform that combines books, arts and technology, contributes to consolidating reading in the daily lives of children and young people, and encourages innovation from the early formative years.
The exhibition is expected to witness meetings with young writers, book signing sessions, and free reading spaces. The exhibition will continue to strengthen Fujairah’s position as a leading platform in supporting children’s literature and developing creativity and imagination among new generations, and confirms the emirate’s role in promoting culture and knowledge at the local and international levels.
The exhibition also includes innovative interactive platforms, such as the Innovation Station, which invites children to explore fun activities, tell stories, and workshops that encourage creativity, the Wonders Lab, which provides a fun atmosphere for drawing, origami making, and designing book dividers, the Stories Gate, which transports visitors to the world of stories and their characters, and animated pages that turn books into live displays with colors and movement to enhance the reading experience. More interactive and inspiring.
The characters Salem and Mira and their family continue their distinguished presence in the exhibition this year, after they have become beloved symbols among children and visitors since the launch of the first edition. The family receives visitors with their usual smile, welcoming the young creators and accompanying them on their tours inside the pavilions and interactive platforms.
This edition of the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair confirms the continuation of the success achieved by the first edition, and strengthens the fair’s position as a qualitative cultural platform that combines knowledge, creativity and entertainment, and opens wide horizons for children and young people to read and interact with books and the arts, in a way that inspires their imagination and encourages their abilities to innovate, and embodies the vision of the Emirate of Fujairah in building a reading and creative generation at the national and international levels.
