DUBAI, 22nd October / WAM / The Federal Youth Foundation concluded the package of specific initiatives and events, which it organized under the slogan “Youth Shaping Tomorrow’s Economy”, within the national campaign “The UAE is the Entrepreneurial Capital of the World”, with the participation of more than 7,000 young men and women from various emirates of the country, who participated in the activities of the “Young Entrepreneurs Caravan” and the “Young Entrepreneurs Forum”, within the framework of enabling Emirati youth to establish their own quality projects, Motivating them to innovate as a sustainable career option that contributes to building a competitive national economy based on knowledge and creativity.

During the forum’s activities, the Foundation launched the “National List of Emirati Projects Awarded the “Youth Efforts” Label,” which includes more than 100 national projects led by Emirati youth in various creative and service economic sectors. The most prominent results monitored by the convoy included more than 150 national directors, after analyzing the aspirations of decision-makers and participating youth, and documenting them in a comprehensive report that includes recommendations that support the entrepreneurship environment. Youth in the country.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, said: “The UAE has always placed the empowerment of youth at the heart of its development visions, as it views them as essential partners in building the future, and investing in their energy is the shortest way towards consolidating the country’s position as a globally competitive and sustainable economic destination. From this standpoint, the country has worked to harness an integrated legislative, educational, and financial environment that provides youth with growth opportunities. He added: What we witnessed in the ‘Youth Create Tomorrow’s Economy’ package confirms that the youth of the Emirates have promising aspirations and qualitative ideas that will contribute to enhancing the process of economic development. Therefore, their participation in drawing up future policies in the field of entrepreneurship came to enhance the national experience through listening and planning, to lead the dialogue about the next economy, and to be an active part in creating it, which embodies the vision of the wise leadership in empowering the youth of the Emirates, and translating Their ability to innovate to achieve excellence in various fields.”

For his part, His Excellency Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, stressed that the package of initiatives and events formed a national platform for unifying efforts and exchanging experiences and opinions between youth and concerned authorities in the various emirates of the country.

He added: “Through the convoy, the Foundation worked to document the aspirations of young people and identify their actual needs in terms of support, financing, and legislation, in addition to monitoring challenges, analyzing data, and documenting opportunities in each emirate, which allowed us to formulate a realistic road map that supports the future of entrepreneurship in the country, and will form a basis for upcoming initiatives, ensuring continuity of impact and expanding the circle of economic empowerment for Emirati youth in various areas.” sectors, while the Entrepreneurship Forum provided a space to exchange successful experiences and launch specific initiatives that achieve continuity in enhancing youth participation in building the national economy.”

The caravan, which toured the seven emirates of the country, included more than 40 various workshops and events, with the participation of an elite group of officials, decision-makers and young entrepreneurs, and platforms to introduce visitors to the Foundation’s initiatives that support entrepreneurship, such as the Youth Station, the Emirati Neighborhood, and the “With the Efforts of Youth” sign. The caravan resulted in several national outcomes, the most prominent of which were: developing flexible and affordable licenses for young entrepreneurs, smart financing, realistic partnerships, enhancing local and international participation, and providing stimulating opportunities that provide young people with the ability to entrepreneurship with ease, in addition to documenting the map of investment opportunities in each emirate, and identifying the most prominent capabilities and initiatives required to strengthen the entrepreneurship system.

The “Young Entrepreneurs Forum” came in line with the National Youth Agenda, which places among its priorities supporting young people to contribute to the development of the country’s economy, to constitute the final event of the package launched by the Foundation, where hundreds of young people, entrepreneurs and supporting bodies gathered in a national scene that reflects the aspirations of the wise leadership towards involving young people in shaping the features of the new economy.

The forum witnessed the organization of a group of dialogue sessions and practical workshops, including the “Leadership in Artificial Intelligence” workshop, the “Market your project by creating content” workshop, and the “Youth Opportunities” session, which reviewed the most prominent services provided by partners and stakeholders in the field of supporting emerging projects in the country, in addition to “consultation sessions for entrepreneurs,” and a dialogue session entitled “Youth Experiences and Industry.” The Future” in which a group of young Emiratis presented their success stories and entrepreneurial experiences.

The forum also included a group of events, including the “Youth Opportunities” session in cooperation with entities that support emerging projects, the “Entrepreneur’s Map” that reviewed paths and opportunities in the local entrepreneurship environment, in addition to dialogue sessions with a group of pioneers and experts, the launch of the “Youth Efforts” instant brand for national projects, and the Federal Youth Foundation station that introduced its services. And its programs, and “Community Pioneers,” which highlighted the social impact of youth projects.

During the forum, the “Saafah” team, the winner of the creative design workshop, was honored, which reflects the spirit of Emirati identity with a modern touch.

The conclusion of the package of initiatives and events represents a starting point towards a series of innovative youth programs that are consistent with the objectives of the National Youth Agenda 2031, and consolidate the country’s direction towards empowering young people to be active partners in the process of economic development, so that the Foundation continues to support Emirati youth and enable them to lead the new economy and create a more sustainable and innovative future.
