ABC wins the “Best Virtual Assistant with Artificial Intelligence” award for its employee “Fatima”

Bank ABC, the leading international bank in the Middle East and North Africa region, won the “Best AI Virtual Assistant in the Middle East” award for “Fatima”, a virtual employee supported by artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence, developed using digital DNA.
This award came in recognition of her role as an internal assistant to the bank’s employees, within the activities of the AI World Series Awards 2025, where Fatima was chosen among the most prominent applications of artificial intelligence in the region.
The event was organized by the AI for Business Institute to honor global companies leading the way in innovation. The awards witnessed strong competition, with more than 138 entries from 23 countries subjected to careful review by a jury that included an elite group of independent experts.
The committee selected a group of winners who demonstrated their excellence in the field of artificial intelligence and their ability to generate added value. The names of the winners were announced at a ceremony held in Dubai on October 19, 2025, in the presence of 250 innovation experts and representatives from different sectors.
The Head of Digital Transformation at ABC Bank Group, Dr. Yousef Al-Mas, saying: “We are honored to win this prestigious honor for our AI-powered assistant (Fatima), which is an embodiment of the digital and artificial intelligence strategy pursued by the bank in the long term, and has evolved into an effective assistant that supports employees, as it efficiently supports work teams across our network extending around the world.
