Oil rises by more than a dollar per barrel

Oil prices rose by more than a dollar per barrel today, Thursday, continuing the gains that began in the previous session.

Brent crude futures rose $1.76, or 2.81 percent, to $64.35 per barrel.

West Texas Intermediate crude futures increased $1.68, or 2.87 percent, to $60.18.
