Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) launches awareness initiatives to support women’s health during Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading bank in providing innovative and simplified Islamic financial services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, launched a group of awareness initiatives during the month of October, as part of its efforts to promote breast cancer awareness and support women’s health.
These initiatives included organizing an educational lecture by the Bank’s Social Committee in cooperation with the Free Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions and the Bahrain Bankers Syndicate, presented by Dr. Maryam Al-Junaidi, Consultant in General Surgery, Breast and Reconstructive Surgery, in which she discussed the importance of early detection and means of prevention, while emphasizing the necessity of conducting periodic examinations and spreading a health culture among female employees and society.
The bank also provided free medical examination and consultation packages to its customers throughout the month, in cooperation with the American Mission Hospital, in addition to the free annual examination it provides to its female employees, which reflects its commitment to providing high-quality health care.
This approach is in line with the bank’s vision to empower women and promote community health, through sustainable initiatives that focus on prevention and support, and establish a culture of health responsibility inside and outside the work environment.
Bahrain Islamic Bank continues to invest in the health and safety of its employees through internal policies aimed at supporting physical and mental health, especially for women, which reflects its keenness to build a healthy and safe work environment.
