The President issues a decision to reconstitute the “Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, in his capacity as Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, issued a decision to reconstitute the Council for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology, headed by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Vice President.

The Council’s membership includes Khaldoun Khalifa Al-Mubarak, Secretary-General of the Council, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak bin Nawi Al-Mazrouei, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al-Jaber, Jassim Muhammad Buataba Al-Zaabi, Hamid Obaid Abu Shabas, Muhammad Hassan Al-Suwaidi, Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Bannai, Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al-Kattab, and Bing Xiao.

Since its establishment, the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council has continued its journey in organizing, implementing and developing policies and strategies related to artificial intelligence and advanced technology technologies, investments and research in Abu Dhabi, in addition to developing financing, investment and research plans and programs in cooperation with local and international partners, in order to achieve the vision of the wise leadership and ensure keeping pace with the rapid growth in the fields of artificial intelligence and technology. Advanced, in line with the Abu Dhabi Digital Government Strategy 2025-2027, which aims to build the first government in the world to rely entirely on artificial intelligence by 2027, through strategic investments that support government transformation and the development of its digital system.
