We are keen on innovation in developing legal services

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command briefed a delegation from the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, headed by the Executive Director of the Legal and Government Affairs Sector, Yousef Saeed Al Kuwaiti, on the best practices followed in the Legal Affairs Directorate, its development efforts, and the implemented systems.

Director of the Legal Affairs Directorate, Brigadier General Abdul Wahab Ibrahim Al Hosani, confirmed that the visit comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation, exchanging experiences, and supporting integration in government work, which contributes to developing institutional performance and adopting best practices in the legal field, noting the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to employ modern technologies and innovation in developing legal and administrative services.

The directorate’s competencies, the mechanism for preparing and drafting legal legislation, the management of lawsuits, the mechanism for providing legal consultations and fatwas, in addition to the electronic job grievances system, administrative investigation procedures, and its role in accelerating procedures and achieving digital transformation in legal work, were reviewed.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport delegation praised the advanced level achieved by Abu Dhabi Police in the areas of legal work and digital transformation, stressing the importance of continuous cooperation and exchange of experiences, because of its positive impact in enhancing efficiency and developing the government work system.

The visit was attended by Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Directorate, Brigadier General Muhammad Obaid Hamar Ain Al Dhaheri, and a number of directors of the Legal Affairs Department.
