The UAE trio qualified for the deciding rounds of the Asia-Pacific Golf Championship

Dubai, October 24 / WAM / The Emirates golf trio, Ahmed Sakik, Sam Mullan, and Rayan Ahmed, achieved an important achievement in the 16th edition of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship held on the Majlis Course at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, after they succeeded in qualifying for the decisive rounds for the first time in the history of the tournament since its launch in 2009.
Ahmed Skaik was able to deliver a remarkable performance, finishing the second round with a total of 72 strokes (barre), maintaining his overall score at 4 strokes below par and occupying tenth place again, which makes him among the most prominent contenders for the first places before the third and fourth rounds.
Skaik started the tournament with a strong performance in the opening round, scoring 68 strokes (four strokes under par).
Player Sam Mullan gave a steady performance, finishing the first two rounds in 19th place, while young Ryan Ahmed continued his distinguished performances, occupying 42nd place, confirming with Sukayk the quality of emerging Emirati talent and their ability to compete in continental competition.
The overall standings are led by Rintaro Nakano (Japan), Kanh Hang Le (Vietnam) and Harry Takis (Australia) with 11 strokes under par, while Skeek is only seven strokes away from the lead.
