Jordan: We have no military role in the West Bank and Gaza

The Minister of Government Communications and official spokesman for the Jordanian government, Muhammad Al-Momani, confirmed that Jordan will not participate in any military role in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip, stressing his country’s support for all humanitarian and political efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and establish their independent state.
Momani described the recent Israeli policies towards the West Bank as aggressive, expressing his His appreciation for the American and international efforts that confirmed its position rejecting the annexation of Palestinian lands.
He added that Jordan provided the Palestinian people with what it could within a moral, humanitarian and Arab duty, stressing that this is consistent with the Jordanian strategic interest in stabilizing the Palestinians on their land and ensuring the establishment of their state.
