An alliance to modernize utility networks and digital growth in Dubai

InfraX, a subsidiary of DEWA Digital, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei, a global specialist in information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices. This partnership aims to accelerate the pace of modernization of Dubai’s utility networks, enhance the efficiency of energy distribution, and support the UAE’s vision for a sustainable digital future.

As a holder of an Internet of Things license that enables it to market and operate Internet of Things networks and services commercially within the UAE, InfraX continues its leadership in enabling secure and flexible communication systems that support the country’s vital infrastructure.

For its part, Huawei provides its global expertise in 5G, artificial intelligence, and smart network solutions, in line with InfraX’s mission to provide innovation and reliability to DEWA. The Chief Operating Officer of Infra “By working with Huawei, we will benefit from advanced communications technologies that improve energy distribution and operational efficiency, and are directly in line with the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050.
