المملكة: Urgent: The Shura Council calls for expansion of import and re-export programs and products

At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed its agenda and the items it included, taking the necessary decisions regarding them.

During its session, the Council issued a decision regarding what was included in the annual report of the General Assembly. For the guardianship of the funds of minors and those in their like for the fiscal year 1445/1446 AH, he called on the authority to coordinate with the health system to develop effective mechanisms for reporting cases of incompetents and incompetents resulting from mental disabilities by health facilities.

The Council’s decision came after listening to the point of view of the Financial and Economic Committee, which was read by the Council member and Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Fahd Al-Takhifi, regarding Members’ comments and opinions expressed in a previous session regarding the Authority’s annual report.

Real estate assets

The Council also called on the Authority to coordinate with the relevant authorities to study the necessary solutions to address the challenges of managing, preserving and developing the real estate assets of minors and the like, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of real estate property management.

The Council also called on the Authority to develop work mechanisms related to the powers of guardians, guardians and custodians in disposing of and monitoring the funds of minors, and also called for coordination with the relevant authorities to develop and implement programs Training and qualification for minors before they reach the age of majority, to enable them to manage and invest their money effectively.

In another decision, he requested Shura CouncilSaudi Export-Import Bank to expand import and re-export programs and products; To empower its target sectors.

The Council took its decision after listening to the viewpoint of the Trade and Investment Committee, which was read by Council Member and Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Thamer Nassif, regarding members’ observations and opinions regarding the bank’s annual report for the fiscal year 1445/1446 AH.

The Council also called on the Saudi Export-Import Bank to develop mechanisms for pricing the bank’s products in a manner that It achieves a balance between enabling exporters to access global markets and the bank’s financial sustainability, calling on the bank to develop specialized products to finance letters of credit for medium and small factories, in accordance with international risk and credit management standards.

The Shura Council issued another decision during the session regarding the contents of the annual report of the King Fahd National Library for the fiscal year. 1445/1446 AH, in which he called on the library to coordinate with the relevant authorities to create an electronic portal concerned with highlighting its holdings related to the cultural, artistic, creative and social heritage in the Kingdom, and to make them available in a manner that does not conflict with intellectual property rights systems.

The Council called on the library to find the necessary solutions to raise the satisfaction rate of beneficiaries of its services, and asked it to adopt international standard performance indicators. It contributes to improving its work and linking performance indicators to its strategic objectives.

The Council took its decision after listening to the point of view of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, which was read by the Council member and Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Nasser Al-Deghaither, regarding the members’ observations and opinions that they expressed in a previous session regarding the library’s annual report.

And among the topics listed on the session’s agenda, The Council approved a number of draft agreements, memorandums of understanding and cooperation with a number of countries in various fields.
