Al Salam Bank launches “ASB Pay Business”, a digital sales platform compatible with Sharia

Al Salam Bank announced the launch of “ASB Pay Business”, a Sharia-compliant digital point-of-sale platform, in the Kingdom of Bahrain that was specifically developed to meet the requirements of large institutions, small and medium enterprise owners, and self-employed individuals, as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to lead the digital transformation in the banking sector.
The platform offers a comprehensive digital solution for accepting payments, allowing merchants to complete sales via their smartphones without the need for traditional devices. It also allows issuing digital invoices, creating direct payment links, instantly linking bank accounts, and tracking transactions easily and effectively through a simplified and secure user interface. The platform also provides a seamless registration experience, with fast same-day payment settlement for Al Salam Bank account holders.
The platform seeks to empower new segments that did not previously benefit from payment services, including merchants who have a virtual commercial registry and home-based entrepreneurs, through a flexible technical model that suits the nature of their business and enhances their ability to manage their financial transactions quickly and efficiently.
“ASB Pay Business” comes as an integrated platform that provides a flexible and mobile digital solution through “smart point of sale” technology on phones, which enables business owners to accept payments directly through their phones without the need for any additional equipment. The platform provides a completely seamless digital registration process within the bank’s digital system, ensuring a fast and secure entry experience into the world of digital payment.
The platform also supports various business models, starting from small home-based projects and startups, all the way to medium and large companies, through flexible features that can be expanded and integrated with accounting systems, e-commerce platforms, and various business process management tools.
