Maktoum bin Mohammed launches the annual book of the general budget of the Union 2026

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, launched the annual book of the Union’s general budget for the year 2026, under the title “Investing in people to ensure a prosperous future.”
His Highness said on the “X” platform: We launched the annual book of the Union’s general budget for the year 2026, under the title “Investing in People to Ensure a Prosperous Future,” which embodies the integration between financial planning and our national strategic goals.
His Highness added: The Union’s general budget for the year 2026 reflects a clear direction of government resources towards investing in people and supporting society.
His Highness continued: With a balanced budget of 92.4 billion dirhams, the quality of human life tops the agenda of the UAE government, as we allocated 30.8 billion dirhams to the public services sector, and 16.9 billion dirhams to the education sector.
His Highness stressed: Our priorities are firm, and our message is clear: people first and the UAE is always at the forefront.
