Zain Bahrain announces the launch of the fastest charging station for electric cars at its headquarters in cooperation with Huawei

Zain Bahrain, the leading communications and technology company in the Kingdom, announced the signing of a strategic agreement with Huawei to launch the fastest charging station for electric vehicles (EV) in the Kingdom, at the company’s headquarters in the Seef area. This initiative is an important achievement within Zain Bahrain’s comprehensive sustainability strategy, which reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s trends towards clean energy and contributing to building a more sustainable future.

The advanced, ultra-fast charging station is capable of providing power of up to 360 kilowatts (kW), relying on liquid cooling technology to ensure reliable performance in various climatic conditions. It is also equipped with advanced smart systems that monitor the charging status in real time and sends instant notifications to ensure a smooth and safe charging experience, in addition to its resistance to dust and its ability to maintain a longer usage life.

This project comes within the series of Zain Bahrain Business solutions, which it provides to support institutions, companies and business projects.

The electric car charging service is an integrated service for companies and institutions that contributes to developing and expanding the electric car charging infrastructure in line with national sustainability goals towards reducing emissions and promoting the transition to clean energy.
