Mohammed bin Rashid launches the Emirates System for Volunteering and Community Participation

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, launched the Emirates Volunteering and Community Participation System, which includes a comprehensive strategy for national volunteering to reach the volunteer base of 600,000 volunteers.

His Highness said through his official account on the “X” website: “At Qasr Al Watan, we launched the Emirates Volunteering and Community Participation System… which includes a comprehensive strategy for national volunteering to bring the volunteer base to 600,000 volunteers… and launching an integrated platform for them… and supporting the third sector and public benefit institutions to increase by 30% during the coming period through a unified portal for their services, procedures, and incubators for their businesses… and a fund worth 100 million dirhams to support their institutions…”

His Highness continued, saying: “Our goal is to enable volunteerism… and enhance community participation… and consolidate and institutionalize goodness in our country… and deliver a message to everyone that the UAE is a country of economy and development, and a country of goodness and generosity… it builds with one hand, and gives with the other… it raises the structure, and elevates the human being…”

His Highness added: “My thanks to the work team based on this strategy, headed by Dhiyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed and his work team. Our future in our country is better because it flies on two wings: the wing of economy and cooperation.. and the wing of giving and solidarity. May God grant success to everyone to serve the country and the people.”
