"Kremlin": American military actions near Venezuela must be carried out in accordance with international law
The Russian presidential spokesman, the Kremlin, said: Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday that US military actions near Venezuela must be carried out in accordance with international law.
Peskov added, according to the Russian news agency “Sputnik”, “Venezuela is a sovereign state, and we must start from the principle that everything that happens around Venezuela must be done in accordance with the spirit and letter of international law.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Peskov was Lavrov, during his meeting with the Venezuelan Ambassador to Russia, Jesus Rafael, affirmed Russia’s solidarity with the Venezuelan government and people in the face of increasing external threats and attempts to interfere in its internal affairs, and its permanent support for protecting national sovereignty.
