A telephone call between the Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Poland to raise the level of cooperation

A telephone call took place on Wednesday, October 29, between Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, and Radoslaw Szykorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, discussed ways to support and develop bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to exchanging visions on issues of common interest.
The two ministers reviewed the course of the distinguished relations between Egypt and Poland in recent years, as Minister Abdel Aty stressed Cairo’s keenness to raise the level of bilateral cooperation and enhance the economic partnership between them. The two countries, including increasing the rates of trade exchange and attracting more Polish investments to Egypt, as well as building on the results of mutual visits and political consultations, stressing the importance of continuing the work of the joint economic committee between the two countries during the coming period. The importance of consolidating the agreement and its full implementation in a way that guarantees a permanent ceasefire and facilitating the access of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, in preparation for the start of the reconstruction and early recovery phase.
In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs referred to the ongoing preparations for holding the international conference for early recovery, reconstruction and development in the Gaza Strip, scheduled to be held in Cairo during the month of November, stressing the importance of the international community’s active participation in the conference to ensure the mobilization of the necessary financial and technical support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and the promotion of regional stability.
