The handball team participates in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia

Dubai, October 29 / WAM / The national handball team will participate in the Islamic Solidarity Games competitions scheduled in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period from 7 to 21 next November.
The team’s training began today in the Shabab Al-Ahly hall in Dubai, during the team’s first assembly period, with a list of 20 players selected from the Sharjah, Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Nasr, Dibba Al-Hisn and Al-Dhaid clubs, and the team is led by national coach Khaled Ahmed.
The handball team delegation is scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia on November 11, in preparation for the handball competitions that begin on the 13th of the same month.
Faisal Dawoud, manager of the national team, confirmed that the team’s technical staff is looking into holding a friendly match directly before competing in the tournament, to confirm full readiness.
