130 speakers from officials and thought and business leaders at the “Knowledge Summit” in Dubai

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation announced that the tenth session of the Knowledge Summit 2025, which will be organized next November 19 and 20 at the Dubai World Trade Center under the slogan “Knowledge Markets, Developing Sustainable Societies,” brings together elite thinkers, innovators and decision-makers from more than a hundred countries to continue their role in building cross-cultural intellectual bridges.

This year, the summit will witness the holding of more than 45 sessions with the participation of about 130 speakers, including officials, experts, and thought and business leaders from various sectors, to discuss building fairer and more effective knowledge markets that contribute to establishing a sustainable knowledge economy that explores modern technology tools such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data, and their role in creating solutions to global challenges, in addition to issues of education, innovation, intellectual property, scientific research, and community development.

This came in a media interview yesterday, during which it revealed the most prominent features of the session, and confirmed that the summit coincides with the declaration of 2025 as the Year of Society in the UAE through its dialogue sessions and discussions that present a global dialogue that places knowledge at the heart of societal development, and confirms that investing in thought and knowledge is the most worthy investment for building prosperous societies, and sheds light on the concept of knowledge markets and their role in exchanging knowledge capital to create a tangible social, economic, and developmental impact that enhances human progress.

Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, Jamal bin Huwaireb, said that the summit is a global reference for formulating thought trends about the knowledge economy and anticipating its future, and places Dubai at the heart of a global dialogue that discusses mechanisms for transforming knowledge into sustainable economic and societal value, explaining that this role reflects the vision of the leadership of the UAE that knowledge is the basis of development and a renewable resource for building a better future for humanity.

The Chief Technical Advisor and Director of the Knowledge Project at the United Nations Development Programme, Dr. Hani Turki, explained that this year’s edition of the Global Knowledge Index is witnessing a methodological update that enhances its accuracy and comparability between countries by adding new sub-indices, developing statistical weights, and incorporating standards to measure readiness to build knowledge societies and economies in the sectors of education, research and development, innovation, technology, economics, and governance, indicating that the developed index will provide a more effective tool for decision makers to draw long-term strategies that support sustainable human development.

The Chairman of the Knowledge Summit Committee, Saif Al Mansouri, reviewed the details of the event’s agenda, explaining that it provides an integrated interactive experience through a group of specialized halls that embody the diversity of the summit’s themes, and includes the main hall, which represents the major platform for global knowledge dialogues, the Sustainable Communities Hall in partnership with the United Nations, the Global Knowledge Index Hall, and the Knowledge Dialogues Hall, which hosts an elite group of innovators in short inspiring sessions, in addition to the Future Skills Hall, which organizes specialized workshops from the Future Skills Academy, and the Round Table Hall for meetings. High-level, training hall, agreement signing corner, and author meeting corner, in addition to an accompanying exhibition in which government and private agencies participate.
