Business groups for the health sector at the Ajman Chamber discuss developing health investments in the emirate

Ajman, 30 October / WAM / The business groups for the health sector in the Ajman Chamber recommended, during a meeting held at the Zoya Resort in Al Zorah area, the launch of innovative qualitative initiatives that contribute to developing the health work environment and stimulating investment in specialized medical services, in addition to opening channels of joint cooperation between the health and educational sectors in Ajman, as they are among the vital sectors that receive great attention and support from the wise leadership, to enhance the quality of life levels in the emirate.

The meeting discussed ways to develop the health sector in the emirate, opportunities to attract health investments, and strengthen partnerships between health sector facilities, in a way that contributes to raising the quality of medical services and supporting the sustainable health care system in Ajman.

He also discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation and integration between the various stakeholders, with the aim of increasing the capacity of hospitals and health facilities in the Emirate of Ajman, keeping pace with the rapid growth in medical services and reflecting the emirate’s position as a leading center in the health sector.

The meeting, which was held at the Zoya Resort in Al Zorah area, was attended by His Excellency Yousef Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, Akbar Mohiuddin, Head of Business Groups for the Health Sector, Vice President of the Thumbay Group, Jamila Kajoor Al Nuaimi, Director of Member Relations and Support at the Ajman Chamber, and members of the group who are officials and representatives of health and medical authorities and centers in Ajman.

His Excellency Yousef Al Nuaimi stressed the vital role of business groups for the health sector in supporting the process of developing the sector and growing its investments, praising the efforts of the private sector and business owners in developing the health infrastructure in line with the strategic objectives of the Emirate of Ajman 2030, which aims to provide an integrated civilized environment that enhances the emirate’s attractiveness and quality of life.

He explained that the development of the health sector in Ajman has economic dimensions, through developing the field of medical tourism as one of the main drivers for enhancing the emirate’s position as a leading center for health care and specialized medical services, and attracting more qualitative investments to this vital sector.
