Toyota Bahrain and Not a Cult organize a charity running event in support of the “Think Pink” breast cancer awareness campaign

Toyota Bahrain, a subsidiary of Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo, organized a charity running event in cooperation with the “Not a Cult” group, in support of the “Think Pink Bahrain” Foundation, which is concerned with breast cancer awareness.

More than 400 runners, male and female, participated in the event in a 6-kilometre race, starting from the “Lost Paradise of Dilmun” park all the way to the “Raffles Al Areen Palace” hotel and then returning to the starting point, amid an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and the spirit of community participation.

Bahrain Specialist Hospital provided its full support for the event by providing a specialized medical staff and an equipped ambulance, to ensure the safety of all participants throughout the event.

As part of this initiative, Toyota Bahrain made a donation to the Think Pink Bahrain Foundation to support its awareness programs and fund breast cancer research.

The event also included a special corner through which participants and visitors were allowed to make their donations and purchase official “Think Pink” products, where all donations were allocated to support awareness campaigns and early detection programs in the Kingdom.

Ayman Shehadeh, Senior Marketing Manager at Toyota Bahrain, said: “At Toyota Bahrain, we are proud to participate in initiatives that carry a humanitarian message of this magnitude.

Our partnership with Think Pink reflects our commitment to supporting efforts aimed at raising the level of health awareness and encouraging early detection, and the large participation we witnessed today confirms that the spirit of cooperation and teamwork is always capable of making a real difference in society.”
