The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi arrives in Korea to participate in the work of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in the Republic of Korea to participate in the work of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum, on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”
The participation of the United Arab Emirates in the forum’s work comes in response to an invitation from His Excellency Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, within the framework of supporting economic cooperation with the member states of the forum, and exploring opportunities to expand the scope of strategic partnerships in various vital fields.
A number of leaders, leaders and heads of government of the member states of the forum, which was established in 1989, and includes 21 global and regional economies with the aim of enhancing regional economic integration by supporting free trade, encouraging investment, and achieving sustainable development goals, are participating in the forum’s work. Member states represent approximately 40% of the world’s population and approximately 60% of the global gross domestic product, making the forum an important platform for regional cooperation in confronting global economic challenges.
