Liwa International Festival opens registration to participate in its activities
Abu Dhabi, October 31 / WAM / The organizing committee of the Liwa International Festival 2026 announced the opening of registration to participate in the activities and events accompanying the festival.
The committee explained in its statement today that the festival is organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Liwa Sports Club, the Al Dhafra Municipality, the Abu Dhabi Police, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and the Miral Company, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Media Network, during the period from next December 12 until January 3, 2026 in the Liwa area in Al Dhafra.
She added that the festival will be held over a period of 23 days, enhancing its position regionally and globally, as one of the most important winter destinations that attracts various segments of society, and enhances the passion for traditional sports, speed racing, and car and bike challenges of all kinds, with the participation of the most prominent professionals and racers from all over the world.
She stated that registration for the services begins tomorrow, followed by the phase of opening reservations for free camping on November 5th, then registration for the races on the 15th of the same month, with the aim of facilitating procedures for participants and visitors, and ensuring a comfortable and integrated experience for all.
She pointed out that opening early registration reflects the high readiness for organizational and technical preparations, to give participants sufficient time to complete their arrangements, in coordination with government agencies and strategic partners to ensure the success of the new version.
