EXO returns to the artistic scene after its members complete military service

SM Entertainment announced that The famous K-Pop group EXO will resume its group activities at the end of the year, after all its members complete their mandatory military service.

The agency explained that the 9-member band will meet its fans at a public event held at the Inspire Arena in the city of Incheon, west of Seoul, on December 13 and 14, before the release of its eighth full-length album, which is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of the year. Next.

An artistic comeback

This event represents EXO’s first group activity in nearly two years, following the release of its seventh album Exist in 2023.

According to the agency, only six members will participate in the event and the album, namely: Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay, while Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin will be absent due to existing disputes with the company regarding contracts.

And during the event, which Spanning two days, the band will perform its most famous songs, in addition to revealing for the first time new tracks from the upcoming album.

It is noteworthy that the group’s collective activities have stopped since its members began joining the military service in 2019, starting with Xiumin and D.O., while Sehun ended his service last month to be the last to join.
