Abdul Moneim Saif Al Kindi, Chairman of the ADIPEC 2025 Exhibition and Conference, confirmed that the new session of the event will be launched under the slogan “Smart Energy for Accelerated Progress,” which reflects the firm conviction of the interconnectedness of the energy and artificial intelligence sectors and the importance of their integration in enhancing the pace of global progress in light of population growth, the emergence of new economic forces, and the rapid development of modern technologies.
Al Kindi said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the ADIPEC 2025 conference program focuses on achieving two main goals: enhancing the flexibility of current energy systems and investing in smart solutions that support sustainable economic growth. He pointed out that the event will host, in an unprecedented manner, an elite group of senior government officials and global leaders in the fields of energy, technology and investment, which will consolidate its position as a global platform for unifying visions, exchanging experiences, and coordinating efforts to ensure making the most of the available opportunities.
He added that “ADIPEC 2025” embodies the quest towards building a more integrated and intelligent energy system capable of supporting global progress at an accelerated pace in line with the rapid economic and technical transformations that the world is witnessing.
Regarding the focus of ADIPEC 2025 on artificial intelligence, Al Kindi explained that this trend comes with the aim of investing in solutions, partnerships and investments that enhance the flexibility and sustainability of the energy sector, noting that the integration of artificial intelligence technologies in the various stages of operational processes increases efficiency, enhances safety and accelerates the completion of precise tasks, which reflects positively on the overall performance of the sector.
He pointed out that the ADIPEC 2025 strategic conference reviews the prospects for benefiting from the potential of artificial intelligence in the energy sector and the importance of developing policies, infrastructure and skills necessary to accelerate the adoption of its technologies, while the technical conference addresses the role of technological innovations and applied intelligence solutions in supporting smart grids and enhancing the sustainability of operations.
He pointed out the launch of “Executive Leadership Sessions in the Field of Artificial Intelligence,” which are high-level closed sessions that review practical applications, investment strategies, and governance and regulatory frameworks, thus contributing to enhancing the capabilities of artificial intelligence in supporting the qualitative transformation that the sector is witnessing.
Al Kindi stressed that ADIPEC plays a pivotal role in accelerating the implementation of the global energy agenda by enhancing coordination and partnerships and building a sustainable and flexible future for all. He pointed out that last year’s edition witnessed the signing of deals worth more than $10 billion, and that the broader participation this year from the energy, technology and investment sectors will contribute to achieving new tangible results.
He explained that the event is witnessing an expansion of the exhibition spaces, including the artificial intelligence area, and the launch of a new event under the title “Chemicals and Carbon Emissions Reduction Exhibition,” which showcases innovative solutions in the fields of ammonia, hydrogen, methanol, carbon capture, energy storage, and renewable energy, in a way that keeps pace with the needs of the sector and enhances the trend towards reducing emissions and achieving climate neutrality.
Regarding the coincidence of the event with the “Year of Society 2025” in the UAE, Al Kindi explained that “ADIPEC 2025” will launch the latest version of the “ADIPEC Youth” program, which includes 11 programs to educate and empower school and university students, in addition to the continuation of the “ADIPEC Youth Council” initiative in its third year to encourage the participation of young leaders in shaping the future of the energy sector.
He added that the event will witness the launch of the new “Culture Pavilion” at the main entrance to the exhibition, to be the UAE’s cultural gateway to the world and provide visitors with the opportunity to explore the national identity and its authentic spirit, embodying the country’s position as a global center for cultural and societal communication.
