“Equal Opportunities” at the Bank of Bahrain holds its second periodic meeting for the year 2025

The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Central Bank of Bahrain held its second meeting for the year 2025, chaired by Sheikha Shaikha bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director of the Financial Resources Department.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the most prominent outcomes of the Central Bank of Bahrain’s initiatives in the field of promoting the principle of equal opportunities between the sexes through programs and initiatives aimed at building a fair and stimulating work environment, including the areas of training and qualification, equal opportunities for professional advancement, and enhancing representation in committees. The initiatives agreed upon within the upcoming work plan 2025-2026 were also reviewed, aiming to establish a comprehensive work environment based on justice and equality in various areas of institutional work, which contributes to the implementation of the plan. National Center for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025-2026) under the slogan “Bahraini Women of Empowerment, Progress, and Striving for Leadership.”

This meeting comes within the framework of the Central Bank of Bahrain’s keenness to support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s directions aimed at empowering national competencies and enhancing the role of women, in line with national policies and the efforts of the Supreme Council for Women in achieving gender balance.
