Emirates Airlines enhances its operations to Cairo with a fifth daily flight

Dubai, November 3, 2025 – Emirates Airlines announced today that it will enhance its service between Dubai and Cairo by operating six additional flights per week, starting from December 1, 2025, in response to the increasing demand during the winter season, increasing from next February 1 to an additional daily flight.
The flights will be operated by Boeing 777 aircraft within a schedule designed to provide smooth connections to major destinations in the Far East such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and others, in addition to destinations in eastern and southern Africa such as Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa.
During the period from December 1, 2025 until January 31, 2026, flight “EK 929” will depart from Dubai Airport at 10:45, arriving in Cairo at 1:00, and the return flight “EK 930” will depart from Cairo Airport at 14:40, arriving in Dubai at 19:55 on all days of the week except Thursday.

Cairo is currently the city receiving the most Emirates A380 aircraft in the Middle East and North Africa region outside of Dubai, and with the start of the fifth daily flight, it will also become the city most served within the Emirates network in Africa.
Adnan Kazim, Vice President and Chief Commercial Operations Officer at Emirates Airlines, said: “Cairo is one of the region’s most active destinations for passengers and air cargo, and has always been a pivotal destination for Emirates Airlines. The additional service will contribute to facilitating the movement of customers across our global network, and strengthening trade and tourism links between Egypt, the Emirates, and the world. As we approach the fortieth anniversary of the launch of our operations to Cairo, this new expansion embodies our firm commitment to the Egyptian market and the region.”
The additional flights would enhance connectivity between the two countries, and increase the capacity of air freight to and from Egypt by up to 300 tons per week via Boeing 777 passenger aircraft.
Since launching its first flight to Cairo in 1986, Emirates Airlines has established itself as a long-term partner for the aviation, tourism and trade sectors in Egypt, as it has continued to expand its operations and increase its flights, and to date has transported more than 10 million passengers to and from the Egyptian market.
