Al Ain City Municipality celebrates"Science Day "
Al Ain, 3rd November / WAM / The Municipality of Al Ain City celebrated “Flag Day”, which falls on the 3rd of November every year, as an expression of pride and pride in the flag of the United Arab Emirates, and an embodiment of the values of loyalty, belonging and national unity, the foundations of which were laid by the founding fathers and followed by our wise leadership.
The VIP Square in Al Ain City Municipality witnessed a flag-raising ceremony in the presence of the Director General of Al Ain City Municipality, His Excellency Rashid Musabah Al Mani, directors of centers and departments, employees, auditors, and a number of representatives of entities in the Al Ain region, amid an atmosphere of pride and honor, emphasizing the meanings of unity and cohesion among the people of the nation.
His Excellency Rashid Al Manei said on this national occasion that Flag Day comes to embody the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging, and confirms the unity of the ranks behind a banner that carries the history of the nation and its dreams for the future, pointing out that raising the UAE flag is a national expression that sums up the process of a renaissance based on determination, persistence and work, and expresses a people who are proud of their affiliation and proud of their leadership that has made the union a model of cohesion and leadership.
The Director of Al Ain Municipality added: “We share with the people of the nation this eternal national moment, believing that preserving the status of this flag is the responsibility of every individual, and that serving the nation is the highest form of loyalty to its lofty symbol, so that the UAE flag remains a witness to the strength of our union, a banner that unites hearts around one goal, and an ambition that knows no retreat.
On this occasion, the municipality organized a number of accompanying activities, including distributing flags and flag emblems to employees and visitors, and implementing awareness initiatives to emphasize the importance of preserving the integrity of the flag and its decent appearance, as it is a symbol of the state’s sovereignty and identity.
