The UAE government launches the “2030 Sustainable Development Goals Leaders” program

The National Committee for Sustainable Development Goals and the Government Knowledge Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Goals Academy, launched the “Preparing Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Leaders” program, with the aim of empowering government, national and global leaders with modern tools, knowledge and skills in the field of leading efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

The implementation of the program is supervised by experts from the UAE government, and includes educational visits to leading government agencies, workshops, and interviews with 17 Emirati experts and 32 government leaders from 14 countries, including 13 international participants and 19 participants from the Emirates, representing senior leadership levels that include ministers, general directors, and undersecretaries.

Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange and Chairman of the National Committee for Sustainable Development Goals, Abdullah Nasser Lootah, confirmed that the launch of the “Preparing Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Leaders” program comes within the UAE’s efforts to support efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development nationally and globally, thus consolidating its position as a global center for exchanging knowledge in the field of sustainable development.
