Saudi reserve assets recorded 1.69 trillion riyals in September

Total Saudi reserve assets during the month of September 2025 recorded about 1.69 trillion riyals, compared to 1.71 trillion riyals in the previous August, decreasing by 1.3% on a monthly basis.
According to the monthly statistical bulletin issued by the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia (sama), the International Monetary Fund in September 12.96 billion riyals, compared to 13.15 billion riyals in the previous August, a decline of 1.4%.
According to (SAMA), foreign exchange and deposits abroad declined during September by 5.1% to 608.17 billion riyals, compared to 641.27 billion riyals in the previous August.
The value of investments in securities abroad during September amounted to 985.57 billion riyals, compared to 975.38 billion riyals in August, an increase of 1%.
Special drawing rights (SDR) recorded 81.1 billion riyals in September, compared to 81 billion riyals in August, an increase of 0.10%.
