“Al-Saqr Insurance” turns to a loss of 20.5 million riyals in the third quarter
Al-Saqr Cooperative Insurance Company turned to a loss in the third quarter of 2025 of 20.5 million riyals, compared to a profit of 3.1 million riyals in the same quarter of last year.
Net profit after zakat decreased by 23.7 million Saudi riyals, mainly due to a decrease in the results of the insurance service and income from investments by 20.8 million riyals and 4.2 million riyals, respectively.
Net loss after zakat increased In the amount of 5.2 million riyals (34%), this is mainly due to the increase in losses from insurance operations as shown in the total insurance service results.
Net losses after zakat amounted to 53.8 million Saudi riyals, compared to a net profit after zakat of 21 million Saudi riyals for the same period of the previous year. This is mainly due to a decrease in the results of insurance service and income from investments by 72 million riyals and 4.8 million riyals, respectively.
