Najibi: We are keen to strengthen legal and commercial cooperation between Bahrain and Singapore

Khalid Mohammed Najibi, First Vice President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received a delegation from the Law Society of Singapore, which is visiting the Kingdom to participate in the opening of the Bahrain International Commercial Court.

During the meeting, the First Vice President of the Chamber welcomed the Singaporean delegation, headed by Samuel Chacko, Vice President of the Authority, in the presence of Mohammed Abdul Jabbar Al Kooheji, Second Vice President of the Chamber, Walid Ibrahim Kanoo, Deputy Financial Secretary, Ahmed Sabah Al Salloum, Member of the Executive Office, and Yaqoub Yousef Al Awadhi, Member of the Board of Directors.

Khaled Najibi stressed that this visit embodies the strength of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Singapore, and reflects the common desire to develop channels of bilateral cooperation, especially in the commercial, investment and legal fields, which contributes to enhancing the business environment and exchanging experiences between the two sides.

For his part, the head of the Singaporean delegation, Samuel Chacko, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the warm reception, stressing the Singaporean Bar Association’s aspiration to enhance cooperation with the Chamber in the areas of legal training and exchange of experiences between the two sides, in a way that contributes to supporting the commercial sector and developing legal services related to business and investment.
