After a bomb threat… flights resume at Ronald Reagan Airport


Flights to and from Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington on Tuesday, after a temporary shutdown for security reasons, following Bomb threat on board a plane belonging to an American company.
The Federal Aviation Administration announced the resumption of takeoffs at about one o’clock in the afternoon local time, with continued delays Inbound flights last an average of 51 minutes.
It is not yet clear how credible the threat is, which coincided with the response of authorities in New Jersey to similar reports targeting polling centers during the ongoing local elections in a number of American states.
