Saudi Arabia reviews mining investment opportunities at the China International Mining Conference
The Kingdom participated in the China International Mining Conference and Exhibition 2025, which was held in the Chinese city of Tianjin. To review the transformation journey in the Saudi Mining, and the qualitative investment opportunities it provides.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Development, Engineer Turki Al-Babtain, confirmed, in his speech during the opening of the conference, that the Kingdom is working to build an integrated mining system that provides stability and transparency and enhances investor confidence in the sector, in an effort to maximize the impact of mining in the process of economic diversification, and to consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a global center for mining and Metals.
Promising investment opportunities
On the sidelines of the conference, Al-Babtain held a number of meetings with leaders of international mining companies that discussed ways to enhance mining cooperation and promising investment opportunities in the mining sector in the Kingdom.
The Kingdom’s pavilion participating in the exhibition included a number of entities in the mining system, including the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Saudi Geological Survey, and the Saudi Mining Services Company. "Attribution"The pavilion also included an introductory section for the FMF International Mining Conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources organized a symposium to introduce the Saudi mining sector and the process of transformation it is witnessing, during which it reviewed the investment opportunities available in all stages of mining, and the capabilities and incentives offered by the Kingdom to facilitate the investors’ journey, and highlighted the competitive advantages of the mining investment environment.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition and conference China International Mining 2025 was held at the Tianjin Mejiang International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the participation of decision-makers, experts and investors in the mining sector from around the world.
