Sharjah, 6 November / WAM / ARADA has awarded a contract worth 145 million dirhams to build a large sports complex in the Aljada community project worth 145 million dirhams on an area of ​​​​400,000 square feet of landscaped areas and includes a full-size football field, a futsal court, and courts for basketball, padel, volleyball, squash and badminton, in addition to dedicated running and cycling paths and play and adventure areas for children.

Ahmed Al Khashibi, Group CEO at Arada, said: “The delivery of this world-class sports complex is in line with our goal of enabling an active and healthy lifestyle for residents and visitors at Aljada. The new facility represents an important addition to the world-class amenities that we are working to provide throughout this innovative, modern destination, through which we continue to improve the quality of life in our community and increase long-term value for our homeowners.”

The new main sports complex in the Aljada community is added to a growing list of other exceptional facilities, which include a specialized square for offices and companies, a Madar shopping and entertainment complex, and a center for performing and cultural arts designed by international Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

The avenue, which extends over an area of ​​more than 24 million square feet with a total value of more than 35 billion dirhams and includes a total of 25,000 residential units, will contribute to changing the urban landscape in Sharjah when completed, representing a modern community that includes major residential neighborhoods and a wide range of shops, sales outlets, and hospitality, entertainment, sports, education, and health facilities in accordance with the highest international standards.
