Cooperation between the “Knowledge Fund” and Dubai Duty Free to support the “Dubai Schools” project

The Dubai Knowledge Fund Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Duty Free to support the “Dubai Schools” project worth 1.95 million dirhams, within the framework of strengthening the partnership between the government and private sectors, and consolidating the concept of social responsibility in supporting the education process, in line with “Education Strategy 33” aimed at developing a modern educational system that enhances the quality of education in the emirate and empowers future generations.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at the headquarters of Dubai Duty Free, in the presence of the Executive Director of the Dubai Knowledge Fund Foundation, Abdullah Mohammed Al Awar, the General Manager of Dubai Duty Free, Ramesh Sidambi, and a number of officials from both sides.
This initiative aims to support the male and female students of Dubai schools, and to enhance the process of continuous development of its educational and pedagogical system, by contributing to the development of the educational staff, school facilities and infrastructure, and expanding the scope of benefit from its academic services, while the memorandum of understanding reflects Dubai Duty Free’s commitment to supporting the education sector as one of the basic pillars of sustainable development, and its keenness to empower students and provide an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with the highest international standards.
In this context, Abdullah Mohammed Al Awar praised the Dubai Duty Free initiative in supporting the education sector in the emirate, which reflects the constructive integration between the government and private sectors. This step is considered a pioneering model of social responsibility that contributes to achieving the emirate’s ambitious goals towards developing a comprehensive and innovative educational system. He explained that supporting leading national institutions such as Dubai Duty Free enhances the ability to develop “Dubai Schools” and improve its educational environment for the benefit of students and society as a whole.
For his part, Executive Director of Operations for Dubai Duty Free, Ramesh Sidambi, said: “We are proud of our partnership with the Knowledge Fund Foundation in supporting education in Dubai. Through this initiative, we seek to contribute to empowering students and supporting the ongoing development of the Dubai Schools Project facilities and educational programs.
