The Saudi stock market index closed 0.5% lower on Sunday
The main Saudi stock market index, TASI, trading today, Sunday, the first session of the week, decreased by 0.5% at 11,244 points, with trades amounting to 2.9 billion riyals.
According to the website "Saudi Arabia Trading"The amount of Sharescirculated about 158.2 million shares, while the market value amounted to about 9.5 trillion riyals.
Shares of 200 companies declined
Shares of 200 companies declined at the end of today’s trading, while 51 rose, out of 262 companies listed on the main market.
The shares of the companies, Sadaq, Glass, Walaa, Wartal, and SMC, rose the most, while the shares of: Development, Acij, Industries, Manufacturing, and Al-Hammadi, the lowest.
Parallel Market
The parallel market index, Nomu, closed today, down by 0.4% at 24,354 points, with trades amounting to 12.5 million riyals.
The amount of shares traded amounted to about 1.3 million shares, while the market value reached about 44.2 billion riyals.
And it decreased Shares of 43 companies rose at the end of today’s trading, while 39 rose, out of 125 companies listed in the parallel market.
