Dubai Municipality is the best Gulf government agency in the field of youth empowerment

Dubai, 9 November / WAM / Dubai Municipality won the title of the best government entity in youth empowerment in the Arabian Gulf for the year 2025, within the Gulf Human Resources Awards (GCC GOV HR Awards), which is one of the highest regional awards in the field of governance, human resources management, and youth development and empowerment.

Dubai Municipality received this appreciation as a result of its efforts in supporting youth, developing their knowledge and experience, and relying on renewable energies to lead the process of municipal work and achieve the goals of the Emirate of Dubai and its future aspirations.

Through the initiatives of the Dubai Municipality Youth Council, it has contributed to empowering more than 1,200 young employees through more than 48 qualitative initiatives that included the areas of management, leadership, development, innovation and creativity, to constitute a role model in implementing strategic plans that support youth.

Fatima Afghan, Chair of the Dubai Municipality Youth Council, expressed her pride in this achievement, which confirms the municipality’s belief in young energies and their ability to bring about positive change, and reflects its keenness to establish a culture of empowerment and innovation, integrate young people into the areas of municipal work, and develop their perceptions and practical and personal experiences in a manner that is integrated with the goals of the UAE Vision 2071, which seeks to invest in the country’s youth and equip them with advanced skills to keep pace with accelerating changes.
