UAE University and Al Ain Youth Council organize the “Youth and Knowledge” Forum

Al Ain, November 12 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates University, in cooperation with the Al Ain Youth Council, and within the initiatives of the University’s Knowledge Club, yesterday organized the “Youth and Knowledge” Forum, with the aim of empowering young people to effectively contribute to the knowledge industry, and strengthen systems of creative thinking and thought leadership, within a dialogue environment stimulating the exchange of experiences and expertise.

The forum was organized with the participation of a number of students, young speakers, representatives of supporting bodies, and those interested in youth and knowledge work, while the program included dialogue sessions and interactive workshops that focused on anticipating the future of knowledge and the role of youth in building educated and creative societies.

His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Raisi, Director of the United Arab Emirates University, confirmed that the university attaches great importance to enhancing the role of youth in the national development process by supporting their scientific and intellectual capabilities, and creating an academic environment stimulating for creativity and innovation, pointing out that this forum embodies a model of integration between academic institutions and youth councils in building a conscious generation that contributes effectively to consolidating the knowledge society.

He added that the UAE University, as the first national university, continues to embrace initiatives that enrich youth thought, open horizons for constructive dialogue, and support the activation of students’ energies in serving the nation and society in line with the UAE’s vision for the future.

For its part, the Al Ain Youth Council confirmed that organizing the forum comes within its ongoing efforts to create knowledge spaces that support talent in the city of Al Ain, establish a culture of dialogue and critical thinking, and enhance communication between academic institutions and youth initiatives.

The forum began with an opening session with His Excellency Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, which addressed the importance of knowledge as a driving force for personal and professional development, followed by dialogue sessions that included an elite group of young pioneers and those with entrepreneurial experiences, who reviewed their practical experiences and paths of transforming ideas into projects with a societal impact, stressing the importance of persistence and innovation in facing challenges and achieving ambitions.

The sessions also addressed a number of topics that focused on empowering youth capabilities, enhancing self-confidence, and consolidating national identity and work values ​​as a basis for building a conscious personality capable of contributing to the renaissance of society.

The participants also discussed the importance of creating purposeful content and its role in shaping awareness and promoting positive messages in digital media, in addition to future career paths and making sound academic decisions, while highlighting the mental health of young people as a pillar of quality of life and sustainable productivity.

The forum concluded by emphasizing the importance of transforming knowledge into practice, and enhancing the presence of youth in national development paths in line with the UAE’s future vision towards a society based on creativity and knowledge.
