المملكة: Approval of the names of the winners of the King Salman Award for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an competition


The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, General Supervisor, approved Local and international Sheikh Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, results and names of winners in the local competition on , King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for , its recitation and interpretation for boys, in its twenty-seventh session, the final qualifiers of which were held in the city of Riyadh during the period from 25 to 29 Shaban 1447 AH, with the participation of (129) contestants, who competed in the six branches of the competition, while the total prizes amounted to more than (7,000,000) riyals.

This comes as an embodiment of the generous support that the competition enjoys from the leadership. Al-Rashida – may God support her – and continuous attention to serving the Book of God Almighty, and encouraging young people to devote themselves to memorizing, reciting and interpreting it.

Memorizing the Holy Qur’an

First place in the first branch was won by Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdul Razzaq Al Mutawa, who received an amount of (400,000) riyals. In second place was Abdul Rahman bin Mukhtar bin Ahmed Muhammad, with an amount of (375,000) riyals, and in third place was Abdul Rahman bin Hassan bin Abdullah Kadaf, with an amount (350,000) riyals.

In the second branch, Aseel bin Mohammed bin Mualla Al Mafuz won first place, with an amount of (250,000) riyals, and Omar bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Subaih came second, with an amount of (225,000) riyals, and third, Ahmed bin Hamid bin Rashid Al-Sahli, with an amount of (200,000) riyals.

And in the branch Third, Muhanna bin Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al-Muhanna won first place, with an amount of (180,000) riyals, second place came with Bilal bin Nafi bin Salim Allah Al-Hujaili, with an amount of (170,000) riyals, third place was achieved by Mahmoud bin Riyad bin Mahmoud Fallatah, with an amount of (160,000) riyals, and fourth place was achieved by Anas bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Ghadoni, with an amount of (150,000) riyals, and fifthly, Usayd bin Bashir bin Abdul Ghaffar Fatni, with an amount of (140,000) riyals.

In the fourth branch, first place was won by Khalid bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Askar, with an amount of (120,000) riyals, and second place was won by Abdul Rahman bin Trad bin Tarfa Al-Anazi, with an amount of (110,000) riyals, and third place was won by Amin bin Muhammad bin Abdul Latif Muhammad, with an amount of (110,000) riyals. (100,000) riyals, and fourth, Suleiman bin Bandar bin Mushabab Al-Qahtani, with an amount of (90,000) riyals, and fifth, Faisal bin Al-Humaidi bin Hamid Al-Awfi, with an amount of (80,000) riyals.

Fifth section

In the fifth section, first place was won by Anas bin Ali bin Tawila Al-Mutairi, with an amount of (60,000) riyals, and Awad bin Al-Mutairi came second. Sarhan bin Awad Al-Rashidi, with the amount of (55,000) riyals, thirdly, Anas bin Youssef bin Muhammad Saleh Abdul-Jawad, with the amount of (50,000) riyals, fourthly, Muhammad bin Mohsen bin Abdo Adwai, with the amount of (45,000) riyals, and fifthly, Muhammad bin Mushabab bin Muhammad Al Mani, with the amount of (40,000) riyals.

As for the winners in the sixth section, they achieved First place went to Tamim bin Saud bin Dhifallah Al-Anazi, with an amount of (35,000) riyals, second place came to Anas bin Muhammad bin Abdul Wahed, with an amount of (32,500) riyals, third place went to Bassam bin Hamid bin Atallah Al-Saati, with an amount of (30,000) riyals, fourth place, Saud bin Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Adwani Al-Zahrani, with an amount of (27,500) riyals, and fifth place, Abdul Rahman bin Badr bin Taher Al-Anazi, in the amount of (25,000) riyals.

Honorable Achievement

On this occasion, the Minister of Islamic Affairs praised the distinguished level demonstrated by the participants, and the solid ability they demonstrated in memorizing the Holy Qur’an, and excelling in good recitation and understanding of interpretation, noting the honorable achievement they achieved by mastering memorizing the words of God Almighty and knowing its meanings.

He also offered congratulations to the winners. And their parents, calling on them to continue working in accordance with the Book of God and to display its morals, asking God Almighty to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the faithful Crown Prince – may God protect them – with the best reward for the care and care they give to the Holy Qur’an and its people.
