Emirati Ahmed Al Hammadi is head of the judging committee at the Asian Endurance Championship in Thailand

Abu Dhabi, November 12, 2017 – The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) chose the Emirati international referee, Ahmed Ali Al Hammadi, as head of the judging committee for the 120-kilometre Asian Endurance and Endurance Championship, which is being hosted by the Thai city of Pattaya from November 28 to 30.

Al Hammadi is the first Arab and Asian to receive a 4-star rating in arbitration, supervisors and technical delegates, and the first international lecturer accredited by the International Equestrian Federation in Asia and the Middle East.

Al Hammadi chairs the Endurance Committee in the Seventh Regional Group of the International Equestrian Federation. He has participated in judging about 800 local races and 13 world and continental championships, and his most recent achievement was chairing the judging committee at the European Endurance Championship in the Netherlands.
