The UAE Pavilion concludes its participation in the Defense and Security Exhibition 2025 with"Bangkok"

BANGKOK, 13 November, 2017 (WAM) – The UAE Pavilion concluded its distinguished participation in the 12th session of the Defense and Security Exhibition in the Thai capital, Bangkok, after four days full of constructive interaction and international cooperation, which attracted the attention of the most prominent leaders of the defense and security industry around the world.

During the exhibition, the pavilion attracted thousands of visitors, showcasing the latest Emirati innovations in the field of defense technology, and confirming the country’s position as a global center for innovation and strategic partnerships, thus enhancing its presence on the international scene in the defense industries sector.

During the exhibition, the State Pavilion witnessed a wide turnout of international visitors, including dignitaries and official delegations from Bahrain, Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, France, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which reflects its position as a main focal point in the exhibition, and confirms its role in highlighting the latest defense and security technologies developed by the UAE, and consolidating its position as a global destination for innovation and strategic partnerships.

The UAE National Pavilion witnessed the holding of 148 meetings covering a wide range of topics, with a special focus on the defense and security exhibitions that will be held at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi next year.

These events include the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX), the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX), and the International Exhibition for National Security and Risk Prevention (ISNR), as global participants have shown great interest in cooperating with the advanced UAE defense system in the coming years.

The meetings also included discussions with the EDGE Group, in addition to preparations for the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), scheduled to be held in 2027, reflecting the UAE’s pivotal role in shaping the future of defense industries globally.

While the VIP Council at the pavilion hosted a series of discussions with defense sector leaders and industry stakeholders, which contributed to strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations.

The UAE pavilion was a major platform to showcase the most prominent Emirati defense and security companies, including Edge Group, Calidus, BHE Land Systems, and Bin Hilal, in addition to Al Jundi magazine.

Over the course of four days, it presented a rich program of meetings and presentations, which gave participants the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in defense technologies, build new partnerships, and consolidate international cooperation.

The large turnout at the pavilion reflects the UAE’s firm commitment to supporting global cooperation and advancing innovation and technological progress in the defense and security sector globally.
