After years of tension… the first contact between Britney and her two sons

Kevin Federline, the former husband of pop star Britney Spears, has re-shed light on the tense relationship between Spears and her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, confirming that communication has finally returned after a long period of interruption due to controversial behavior that had caused the two sons “anxiety and fear,” as he described it.

During an interview on Talk Shop Live, Federline said: “We did not go into details, but I know that she spoke to my two children, and this is a positive thing. I see a light at the end of the tunnel, but the road will be long and difficult.”

He explained that the publication of his memoirs, You Thought You Knew, came with the motive of “repairing the relationship” between the mother and her two children, noting that the two children are “trying to find a way to return to a normal relationship with her, and this is certainly possible.”

Federline stressed that he did not stop at the criticism he received after the book was published, saying: “If I have to be the one to blame so that my two children can rebuild their relationship with their mother, then I will bear it.”

He added that the two sons still have great love for their mother: “They have always loved her and will continue to do so. I always wished that they would maintain contact with her as they do with their grandmother.”

His statements come after a previous interview on the Piers Morgan Uncensored program in which he revealed Sean and Jayden’s fears about their mother as a result of what they saw in her home, including suspected drug use and behavior he described as “worrying.”
