"Umm Al Quwain Room" Exploring economic cooperation with Kazakhstan

Umm Al Quwain, 14 November / WAM / His Excellency Khalfan Ahmed Misfer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Almaz Tasbulla, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the country, discussed the prospects for economic and investment cooperation and strengthening trade relations between the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, which was held at the Chamber’s headquarters, the two sides discussed ways to develop economic relations and exchange experiences and investment opportunities between the two sides, in addition to reviewing promising areas in the sectors of trade, industry, tourism and services. Joint initiatives that would enhance communication between the business community and support future plans of common interest were also discussed.

The two sides stressed their keenness to expand the areas of economic and investment cooperation, and to continue coordination between the relevant institutions in Umm Al Quwain and Kazakhstan, in a way that contributes to building a sustainable economic partnership and opens new horizons for cooperation in development and investment projects.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Saeed Al-Azm, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Ali, Director-General of the Chamber, and Sheikha Bodour bint Abdullah Al-Mualla, Director of the Government Corporate Communications Office, along with the delegation accompanying the Consul General.
