Launching the Dubai Horse Racing Education Program

Dubai, November 14 / WAM / The Dubai Horse Racing Club, in cooperation with the Dubai Equestrian Club and the Emirates Equestrian Centre, announced the launch of the Dubai Educational Program for Horse Racing 2025, which aims to strengthen students’ connection to the equestrian heritage in the country and revive the values associated with it as an integral part of the Emirati cultural identity.
The program works to develop students’ passion for horses and introduce them to the sport of horse racing through a combination of academic education and practical experiences, through classroom lessons and field activities that allow participants to learn about the world of equestrianism in an interactive and inspiring manner.
The first phase of the program is scheduled to launch on November 16, in cooperation with a number of schools selected by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai.
The students will undergo a series of activities, including visits to stables, lessons in riding young horses, introductory tours of racetracks, in addition to specialized educational lectures.
The pilot program will conclude on February 28, 2026, with a graduation ceremony held as part of the “Emirates Super Saturday” events at Meydan Racecourse.
The second phase, entitled “Evaluation and Expansion,” begins after that, and aims to review the results of the first phase and develop the approved curricula, in addition to expanding the scope of the initiative to include all the emirates of the country, allowing greater participation of students interested in equestrian and its sports.
Ali Al Ali, Executive Director and Board Member of the Dubai Racing Club, stressed that the program represents an important step to reconnect young people with the equestrian heritage and enhance their appreciation for the noble values it carries.
For his part, Ahmed Al Kaabi, Acting Director General of the Dubai Equestrian Club and the Emirates Equestrian Centre, stressed that the partnership in implementing the program reflects the commitment of the concerned authorities to raising generations that understand the depth of equestrian traditions and contribute to their sustainability.
